Jammu, Nov 06 (KNO): Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday held a protest at party headquarters in Jammu against the resolution passed by Jammu and Kashmir assembly against the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A. Led by BJP president Sat Sharma, a large number of BJP workers assembled at party office in Trikuta Nagar and raised slogans against National Conference and Congress government for bringing, what they said an "anti-India resolution.' As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the protesters also burnt the effigy of chief minister Omar Abdullah and his deputy Surinder Choudhary. Jammu and Kashmir assembly today passed a resolution against the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, which was moved by deputy chief minister and MLA Nowshera, Surinder Choudhary on behalf of National Conference BJP alleged that NC is befooling the people of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that no assembly can bring back Article 370 and 35A Speaking with reporters, Sat Sharma said that NC-Congress has history of fooling people. He said BJP will not allow any such move and keep protesting against the nefarious designs of NC- Congress in the house and on streets as well—(KNO)
